Bilice has always been known for ‘klapa’ singing. Klapa Bilice was founded in 1977 by Zvonko Mikulandra with the support and help of Ivo Buva (Cako). After that, Ivica Mikulandra became the leader and trained the ‘klapa’ and within one year they went on the famous Omiš festival. With the departure of the most of the singers and the change of sponsors, the klapa was renamed "Bonaca" and then the klapa Bilice ceased to function. After that, Zvonko Mikulandra founded  klapa Veterani , which was a great success. They performed all over Dalmatia and were chosen as honorary guests at the Festival in Omiš.

The young klapa Bilice was founded in 2001 , which in the same year for the first time participated in Omiš Festival and won the first audience award at the debut evening, after which they successfully performed at the festival of Dalmatian klapa in Kaštela. They made significant appearances in Zurich, Bern, the Kaštela Festival and the Dalmatian Chansons.
